Greenpeace volunteers display a banner declaring „Nuclear is not the answer” while onboard rubber boats in Manila Bay on their way to Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel in Pasay City, site of the ongoing Nuclear Power Forum Philippines on 10 December 2010. Greenpeace warned the delegates of the forum against making investments in the nuclear power sector as this will endanger the national economy as well as the safety of Filipinos. The group is also calling on Philippine President Benigno Aquino III to abandon all talks regarding nuclear power in the country and instead pursue a 50% renewable energy scenario by 2020.
